Payments and Procedures

When you are ready to purchase your chosen number plate, please contact us urgently by using our 'contact us' form leaving your preferred contact details and the plate details and we will contact you urgently to discuss and answer any questions you may have. We can then secure your plate and discuss any questions you may have and arrange payment.

Please contact us urgently in order to confirm the plate availability and ensure we can process your purchase efficiently.

The procedure is quite straightforward and we willl complete the process for you.

There are two purchase options available to you, please choose which option best suits your requirements, if you need any advice on this please call or contact us.

Option 1.  To retain the number plate on a certificate

We require the following:

1). We need to know if you wish to retain the number plate on the certificate, to be applied to a vehicle at later date. Please confirm.

2). Please be aware that if you are retaining the number plate XXX XX on a certificate this has an expiry date of    XXXXXX and would need to be assigned to a vehicle before this date.
It may be possible to extend this expiry date at an additional cost but please notify us of your requirements urgently.
If you have any questions please ask, we will be glad to advise you on your options depending on the expiry/renewal date.

3). We require the Name of the person who is receiving it, this name must be exactly as shown on the V5C registration document for the vehicle, including Mr, Mrs, Miss and any middle name.

4). Please forward the full address and postcode where you wish your documents to be posted.

5). Please let us know if the number plate is a surprise gift for someone and if you wish us to be discreet with our communication and postage.

We will notify you when your documents are back from the DVLA and that we require immediate payment for the outstanding balance. Once full payment is received your documents will be posted to you by special delivery.

Please be aware, this process takes approximately 7-10 days to complete, subject to postage and the DVLA processing times.

Option 2.  To transfer the registration direct to a vehicle

We require you to post to us the following: (we would recommend recorded post, this can then be tracked)

1). Confirmation that you wish to transfer your new number plate direct to your chosen vehicle.

2). Please forward your Registration Certificate (V5C) Original, for the receiving vehicle

3). We require your current valid MOT certificate (Original)

4). A COPY of your valid tax disc.  Not the original, please leave this on the vehicle. Important, do not apply for a refund of the old tax disc while awaiting the new registration as this would delay your application considerably.

We will notify you when we have received all your relevant documents and confirm any outstanding issues.

Full payment is then required prior to your application being sent to the DVLA.

Your documents will be posted to the DVLA for application.

Next you will receive your new TAX disc direct from the DVLA, displaying your new cherished number plate. You will also receive a document you will require to enable you to have your new number plates made up.
This confirms that you application has been accepted and is being processed.

All you need to do then is to get your new number plates made up and fit them to your car.
Don’t forget to also display your new TAX disc..   and enjoy!  
You do not need to wait for your registration document from the DVLA before you fit your new number plates.
